Membership Process
Becoming A Member
At Valley Life Church, we believe church membership is important and that all Christians are created and called to community within the body of Christ. The first step to learning more about membership is attending our Membership Class. After filling out an application, an elder will meet with potential members to ensure each person is engaged and known as our family grows.
Learn MoreDiscipleship
We believe that we are all called to continue growing in our faith and one of the primary ways that happens is discipleship. Discipleship at Valley Life seeks to cultivate the three disciplines of our faith: prayer (the ear of God), Bible (the Word of God), and His church (the people of God). Valley Life Church has various avenues for this discipleship:
- One-on-One Discipleship
- Community Groups
- Men’s & Women’s Discipleship Groups
- Young Adults' Ministry
- Youth Ministry
- Valley Life Kids
- Parenting, Marriage, and other Classes
- Service Teams
- Local and International Missions
We want to continue to equip our members in their spiritual development by helping strengthen their identity as a Believer, Learner, Server, and Giver.
Believer
A Believer is someone who has repented of their sin and turned toward Jesus and has been born again by the Spirit. After someone is a believer, they should be baptized. (Romans 10:9, Mark 1:15, Acts 2:38).
Learn MoreLearner
A Learner at Valley Life is defined as one who is actively seeking to grow in the 3 disciplines of our faith (Bible, Prayer, Church). This would include attending a Community Group, Men’s or Women’s Bible Studies, one-on-one Discipleship, or any other gathering that is prioritizing reading and applying God’s truth to our daily lives.
